ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt women's basketball will take the court for their second outing of the season where they will host Dominican University for a preseason scrimmage on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 12 p.m. PT at Lumberjack Arena.
LAST TIME OUT
The Lumberjack women opened their exhibition slate with a home scrimmage against Simpson, using the contest to evaluate rotations, develop team chemistry, and sharpen offensive and defensive schemes. Humboldt gained valuable experience working through early-season adjustments and testing strategies against live competition in the 103-45 win.
DOMINATING DOMINICAN
Dominican University brings a competitive squad looking to challenge Humboldt in its second preseason matchup. The scrimmage will provide the 'Jacks with an opportunity to continue refining their defensive intensity, ball movement, and offensive execution in a controlled, game-like environment before the official season begins.

While there is no live stream, the scrimmage will be free admission.
UP NEXT
Following Saturday's scrimmage, the Lumberjacks will continue preparations for the 2025–26 season with additional practice sessions and scrimmage opportunities. Humboldt officially opens the season at home on Friday, Nov. 14 against Northwest Nazarene.
