Freshman Brent Ritschel won the 5,000 meters at the Wildcat Invitational on Saturday with a season-best time of 15:17.88 that placed him just ahead of teammates Joe Ostini (15:19.88) and Ben Stern (15:23.62) in a 1-2-3 HSU sweep of the event.
