Devon Kelsey, junior from Atascadero and Cuesta JC, raced to a first-place finish helped Humboldt State claim that same position in the women's team race at the Crystal Springs Invitational cross country meet held Saturday. With HSU's usual No. 1 runner Bridget Berg held out in preparation for the upcoming California Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, Kelsey quickly took over frontrunner duties, finishing the 6-kilometer course in 22 minutes, 47 seconds.
