Nick Bawden pushed his Humboldt State javelin school record even further, finishing first among all collegiate athletes in the men’s division at the prestigious Stanford Invitational on Friday. Bawden’s throw sailed 219 feet, 9 inches to eclipse his own previous best of 217-0 achieved on March 23.
