Cal Poly Pomona enters the weekend following back-to-back wins over Los Angeles and Dominguez Hills. The Broncos' defense has been dominant this season with opposing teams averaging just 58.0 points per game.

COACHES CORNER
On Los Angeles and Dominguez Hills spilt
"Well obviously you always go into the weekend hoping for two wins, but more importantly I was very proud and pleased with how the team responded after the Los Angeles game," said Head Coach Michelle Bento-Jackson. "We really felt like we didn't perform our best, then coming out against Dominguez Hills I felt the girls made it a priority, especially on the defensive end. How they responded after a short turnaround like that is not always the easiest task, but they did a very good job."

On Cal Poly Pomona
It's going to be a tough challenge for us," says Bento-Jackson. "They are a little bit different than a lot of teams in our conference, from the standpoint they're a post-oriented team. So a lot of emphasis in practice this week is going to be on certain things that we need to do defensively to try to limit high-percentage points for them."
