HAYWARD, Calif. -- Cal Poly Humboldt men's soccer broke even with Cal State East Bay from Pioneer Stadium on Friday night with a final score of 1-1. 
Cooper Stephens scored his third goal of the season, making him tied for the second-highest goal scorer on the team. 
All the action came in the first half of this CCAA matchup under the lights. At the 12:38 mark, 
Cooper Stephens put Humboldt up 1-0 when he scored an unassisted goal. This marks Stephens third goal on the season and he is now tied with 
Juan Perez for the second most goals scored on the team. Roughly six minutes later at the 18:24 mark, Marco Campos of Cal State East Bay scored the equalizer on an assist from Aaron Farnan to make it 1-1. The ' Jacks and Pioneers were even at eight shots each heading into the half. 
The second half saw another even offensive attack as both teams posted seven shots. In the final 30 seconds of the match, 
Cooper Stephens played the ball over to 
James Haynes who found 
Konnor Rowan for a great look. Rowan shot the ball that went just left of the goal and nearly sealed a victory for the Lumberjacks. However, Cal Poly Humboldt and Cal State East Bay played to a 1-1 draw.
