LAST TIME OUT
Humboldt wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a challenging two-game trip to Alaska, falling 63–50 at Alaska Anchorage and 66–57 at Alaska Fairbanks.
Against the Seawolves, the 'Jacks struggled to find consistent offensive rhythm but received strong efforts from Zaveion Bineyard, who scored 16 points, and Drew Ardouin, who added 10.
The following night against the Nanooks, Radon Thorson led Humboldt with 15 points, while Bineyard contributed 13 points and eight rebounds in a gritty, physical contest.
CCAA HOME OPENERS
Thursday's meeting with Stanislaus State marks the Lumberjacks' conference home opener, as Humboldt looks to bounce back from two competitive road losses. Emphasis this week centers on ball security, interior scoring, and tightened defensive rotations as the 'Jacks settle into conference play.
Saturday's matchup with UC Merced provides another early-season test and a key opportunity for Humboldt to continue sharpening its chemistry, solidifying rotations, and building confidence moving into December.
