ARCATA, Calif. – For the third time this season, Cal Poly Humboldt Men's Basketball has received votes in the latest D2CSC regional ranking poll. The Lumberjacks, who have received votes twice earlier this season and were ranked No. 10 the past two weeks, are currently sitting at 14-9 overall (10-8 CCAA) and in fourth place of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
Cal Poly Humboldt received votes totaling to two points, joining a competitive West Region field led by Point Loma and Cal State Dominguez Hills, who each received three first-place votes.

The Lumberjacks will face a tall task ahead, as they look to sweep the first place No. 17 Cal State Dominguez Hills (20-4, 17-1 CCAA) on Thursday at 7:30 PM in Carson. Humboldt defeated the Toros earlier in the season 90-80 on the home floor in Arcata, making them the only team thus far to defeat Dominguez Hills in the CCAA.
Then on Saturday, the Jacks will face Cal State Los Angeles (11-13, 9-9 CCAA) to close out the final regular season road trip. Humboldt also defeated the Golden Eagles, who are one game behind the Lumberjacks in the CCAA standings, in Arcata earlier this season, beating them 84-78 in a gritty matchup in Lumberjack Arena.
With just four games remaining in conference play, No. 17 Cal State Dominguez Hills and Chico State are the only teams to have clinched a spot to San Marcos at the CCAA Basketball Tournament.
