The Hall of Fame Ceremony coincides with Lumberjack Weekend, giving alumni, supporters and members of the campus community an opportunity to celebrate Humboldt's athletic history throughout the weekend. Lumberjack Weekend activities continue Saturday, Oct. 10, when Humboldt volleyball hosts Cal State Dominguez Hills at 1 p.m. The Campus Block Party, featuring Durand Jones & The Indications, will follow at 4 p.m.

INDUCTEES

1996 Women's Soccer Team: Competing in only the second season of Humboldt women's soccer, the 1996 Lumberjacks established a standard that remains unmatched in program history. Humboldt finished 11-4-5 overall and 5-2-3 in the Northern California Athletic Conference, placing second in the conference standings. The team became the first in program history to qualify for the NCAA Tournament and remains the only Humboldt women's soccer team to win an NCAA postseason match after defeating UC Davis 1-0 in the opening round.

2011 Football Team: The 2011 Lumberjacks produced one of the most celebrated seasons in Humboldt football history, finishing 9-1, winning the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship and rising to No. 13 in the national rankings. Humboldt earned a 23-16 road victory over Division I UC Davis and defeated Central Washington before an overflow crowd of 8,000 at Redwood Bowl in the nationally televised NCAA Division II Game of the Week. The Lumberjacks concluded their championship campaign by avenging their only loss with a 38-7 victory over Western Oregon.

Sue Simon (Staff, 1988-2011): Simon served Humboldt Athletics for more than two decades as the department's athletics secretary. Through her dedication, compassion and work behind the scenes, Simon supported countless department operations and positively influenced generations of Lumberjack student-athletes, coaches and staff members.

Teigan Eilers (Track & Field, 2012-17): Eilers developed into one of the premier multi-event athletes in Humboldt track and field history. He earned NCAA All-American honors in the decathlon, captured the 2015 CCAA championship and finished as the conference runner-up in 2017. Eilers concluded his career as Humboldt's record holder in the decathlon while also ranking among the program's top performers in several individual events.

Kori Gilley (Cross Country/Track & Field, 2013-17): Gilley established herself as one of Humboldt's most accomplished distance runners. She earned Second Team All-American, All-Region and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors while also being selected as the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week. Gilley won the 2014 CCAA Cross Country Championship and was named the conference's Runner of the Year. She also earned Academic All-CCAA recognition and continues to hold Humboldt records in the 1,500 meters and 3,000-meter steeplechase.

David Kulp (Football, 2011-13): Kulp anchored Humboldt's offensive line during one of the program's most successful periods. He was named First Team All-GNAC in 2012 and earned Second Team honors in 2011 and 2013. A member of the Lumberjacks' 2011 conference championship team, Kulp served as a team captain during his final two seasons.

Mike Morey (Swimming/Water Polo, 1967-69): Morey earned three All-American honors during his standout career with Humboldt's swimming and water polo programs. He was a two-time First Team All-Far Western Conference selection in 1967 and 1968 and served as a team captain during the 1968 and 1969 seasons. His achievements helped build a strong foundation for Humboldt aquatics.

Ariel Oliver (Track & Field, 2016-17): Oliver made an immediate impact during her two seasons with the Lumberjacks, earning NCAA All-American honors twice in the discus. She was named the CCAA Newcomer of the Year and won consecutive conference championships in the discus. Oliver also captured the 2016 CCAA shot put title and finished second in the event in 2017. She completed her Humboldt career holding program records in both the discus and shot put.

Kayley Weber (Rowing, 2012-15): Weber helped elevate Humboldt rowing on the national stage as a member of the varsity eight. She earned All-American honors in 2014 and 2015 and was named First Team All-WIRA in 2014. Weber contributed to the Lumberjacks' 2014 national championship and helped Humboldt secure a third-place national finish the following season.
