HUMBOLDT: Enters his first and final season playing for the Lumberjacks.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Appeared in first two games of the 2009 season before suffering an injury and missing the rest of the season ... Made two tackles in the game against No. 8-ranked Penn State ... Started first three games of the season as a redshirt junior.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Competed at Santa Rosa Community College ... Recorded 30 tackles, 20 of which were solo, and had three interceptions and 10 pass break-ups ... Was selected to the All-Northern Calif. Conference team as a cornerback.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played football at W.P. Davidson High School (Mobile, Ala.) ... Rushed for 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns ... Also lettered in track and field ... Was named to the All-State 4x1 relay team.
