HUMBOLDT: (2011) In his first season playing for the Lumberjacks he played in nine games with 18 tackles and two sacks.  Awarded newcomer of the year for HSU football.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Competed in two years of football at Fresno City Junior College ... Was a member of the back-to-back conference championship team in 2009 and 2010 ... Started as a sophomore and recorded 30 tackles and six sacks ... Was a two-time recipient of the “Torch of Excellence” for academic achievement.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity football at Fowler (Calif.) High ... Received All-West Sequoia League first team defensive end honors as a junior and senior and second team wide receiver honors as a senior ... Was a member of the City/County Football and North/South all-star teams ... Also lettered in basketball and golf.
