HUMBOLDT STATE: Third year rower for the Jacks.

2011: Was a member of the team that finished 3rd at the NCAA National championship....Placed 2nd in the V4+ at the NCAA National Championship, raced in three seat.
      
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Moscow (Ida.) Senior High ... ran track and cross country, advancing to the state competition as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 2, 1990, in Berkeley ... parents are David and Nancy Nelson ... majoring in oceanography ... enjoys rafting, hiking, biking, swimming, diving and being outdoors.
