(TRACK & FIELD 2022): Named Department's Freshman of the Year...Recorded personal best throw of 40-10.25 in the shot put at the Sacramento State Invitational....Posted a personal best throw of 106-08 in the discus at Chabot College Invite.
PRIOR TO HUMBOLDT: Graduated from Burroughs High School. During her time at Burroughs, she placed second in the discus and third in the shot put in the Mojave River League finals her senior year... Placed fifth at CIF SS finals in the shot put and was the recipient of the Athlete of the Year Award for Mojave River League...Honor Roll student-athlete...Cerro Coso Athlete Award recipient her junior season.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Critical Race, Gender & Sexuality... Daughter to Vanessa Montes...Enjoys singing and throwing.
