Humboldt Athletics Social Equity & Accountability (SEA) Committee
The SEA Committee was founded to create and foster an equitable and inclusive environment within Cal Poly Humboldt Athletics.
Our mission is to create and promote conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion within our department. To take feedback from many perspectives with the intent to improve our ability to support diversity, equity and inclusion. To create an environment that is welcoming and supportive of diverse identities that perpetuates and reflects the diversity of our University and community. Committee Makeup:
The committee is co-chaired by Head Athletic Trainer,
Shannon Childs and
Michelle Bento-Jackson (Head Women’s Basketball Coach), and also includes
Nick Pettit (Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Campus Recreation),
Andrea Webb (Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Student Success),
Ashley Donnell (Associate Head Women’s Rowing Coach), and
Sarah Ingram (Head Track & Field Coach). You can read about the
