Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks begins his first season as a member of the Humboldt State football coaching staff after spending the spring as a volunteer coach. Brooks will serve as a defensive assistant.

As a volunteer coach, Brooks was responsible for the wide receiver position group. He facilitated position meetings as well as broke down film for practice and season games. Before joining the HSU coaching staff Brooks spent three years as the Assistant Sports Coordinator for the City of Eureka, Parks and Recreation Department. He was responsible for managing sports programs and ran sports summer camps. Brooks was also a staff manager and facilitated trainings as well as assigned weekly schedules.

Brooks graduated with a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration from Humboldt State.
