HUMBOLDT: (2012) Begins his first season with the Lumberjacks.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two seasons of football at Santa Ana (Calif.) Junior College ... was selected as team defensive captain and earned several Player of the Game honors while helping the Dons achieve a 9-2 record and the claim the East Conference title as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played strong safety for Esperanza High ... totalled 70 tackles and three interceptions in 2009 to help the Aztecs achieve an 8-4 record ... selected Defensive Back of the Year in the Sunset League.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 3, 1991 in Orange, Calif. ... majoring in business marketing ... enjoys surfing and working out.
