Biography

HUMBOLDT: Deon Ford begins his first season playing for the Lumberjacks.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Redshirted as a freshman at Washington State in 2007, then spent the 2009 season recovering from shoulder surgery.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in football at Rancho Cucamonga HS...As a junior, made 23 receptions for 348 yards and two touchdowns as a wide receiver...All-Baseline League honorable mention selection...On defense, made 56 tackles, one interception and a fumble recovery....Inurded during senior season, but made 30 receptions for 510 yards and five touchdowns in limited playing time...All-league second team pick.

PERSONAL: Deon Brandon Ford was born in December, 1989 in Los Angeles…Parents are Derek and DeDe Ford.
