PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Earned all-conference recognition in 2009 as a wide receiver and 2011 as a defensive back playing for Shasta JC … Led all JUCO players in California in interceptions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named to the all-conference First Team at Klamath Union HS all four years in football (2005-08) … Won the Oregon State championships in the 100 meters and 200 meters as a track and field sprinter.

PERSONAL: Son of Gregory and Bonnie Newman … Majoring in kinesiology … Enjoys sports and hanging out with friends.
