2020-21: Played in nine games during the pandemic season...Averaged 17.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 50.9% from the field...Scored in double digits in all but one game and had a season high of 29 points on Feb. 28 at Academy of Art...Named to Department of Athletics' Dean's List in Spring Semester....Named to CCAA All-Academic Team.
WEST LOS ANGELES COLLEGE: Sims transferred to HSU from West Los Angeles College in the Fall 2020....In 2019-20, Sims averaged 9.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in the 29 games he played in for the Wildcats. He also was on the Dean's List this past academic year at West Los Angeles College.
PERSONAL: Sims graduated from George Washington High School.
