Biography
PERSONAL: Porter is a transfer from the University of Wyoming where he played in 54 games the past two seasons including four starts. He scored 153 points and grabbed 51 rebounds in his two seasons as a Cowboy. Before Wyoming, the 6-9 strong forward played at Washington Academy where he averaged 23.0 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. The Virginia Beach, Va., native also added 2.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game while shooting 39% from three-point land. He played high school at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach. While at Princess Anne, he earned All-Atlantic Conference accolades while averaging 17.3 points per game.
