HUMBOLDT (2023): Appeared in 17 games, starting three, tallying 323 minutes...Recorded a field goal percentage of 60.0%, with 66 points, and 106 rebounds, leading the team with an average of 6.2 per game...Sowell totaled nine assists, 10 steals, and five blocks on the year. 

PRIOR TO HUMBOLDT: Sowell is a 6'5" freshman forward and joins the Lumberjack squad this season from Dominguez High School in Compton. As a senior, Sowell averaged 19.0 points per game, 17.0 rebounds per game and 2.0 blocks per game. He was named First Team Press-Telegram Dream Team and First Team All Gateway League in his senior season. As a junior at Dominguez High School, Sowell was awarded San Gabriel Valley League MVP and Second Team Press-Telegram Dream Team. Over the span of his four year high school career, he led his team to a 32-5 league record.
