PRIOR TO HUMBOLDT: Attended Flagler College, in St. Augustine, Florida. Played in seven games in 2020-21...Scored four points and grabbed five rebounds...Had a bucket in two games - at Augusta (Feb. 13) and at Francis Marion (Feb. 27).

COLLEGE OF THE REDWOODS: Earned his associate's degree at the College of th Redwoods in Eureka, Calif...Helped the Corsairs to a 22-6 record....Averaged 20.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game...Was 11th in the CCCAA in points (5574) and points per game...Shot 54.6 percent from the field....Finished with eight double-doubles...Poured in a season-high 36 points and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds against Monterey Peninsula Junior College (Nov. 2)...Scored 32 points and pulled down 12 rebounds vs. Feather River College (Feb. 15)...Played a reserve role for the Corsairs...Team finished in the top eight in the state and won 20 games in a row...Red-shirted at Santa Rosa (Calif.) Junior College.

High School...Lettered in basketball...Was selected as the MVP of the Humboldt Del Norte league as a senior...Helped lead the Tigers on a 20-game winning streak...Son of Wendell and Hellen Nelson...Has three brothers and a sister...His brother, Andrew, played baseball at the University of Kentucky (2014-15) and his sister, Anna, played women's basketball at the University of the Cumberlands (2017-19)...Majoring in Business Administration... Knows how to build computers
