HUMBOLDT: Comes to Humboldt State as a sophomore after transferring from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where he competed in 2011.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a CIF qualifier in the 400 meters in 2009 and 2010 while attending Pacifica High School in Oxnard. …Advanced to the finals of the 400 meters at the Ventura County Championships.

PERSONAL: Intends to major in Communications. …Born Dec. 26, 1991. …Parents are Basilio and Rose Mary Gonzales.
