The HSU record holder for the decathlon, Teigan Eilers returns to Humboldt State as part of the track & field coaching staff. In his second year as an assistant coach Eilers is eager to improve athletic technique and ability while also creating a positive training environment.

Eilers won the CCAA Conference Championship in the Decathlon in 2015 and placed second in 2017. He was named a NCAA Division II Second-Team All-American and won the Hal Charnofsky award in 2017. The Scotia, Calif., native was also won HSU Field Athlete of the Year in 2013, 2015, and 2017.

Eilers earned a bachelor of arts in kinesiology from Humboldt State University.
