PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Earned All-State honors in the javelin as a freshman at Yuba CC, and earned All-American following his sophomore season. …Was chosen as Scholar Athlete of the Year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Starred in football and basketball at Marysville High School, achieving All-Area honors as a defensive back and named to the second team as a wide receiver. …Selected to All-League first team in basketball following his senior season. …Selected as MVP of the basketball team.
