PERSONAL: Majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal and Justice Studies...Son of Shantae, brother to Musa, Nafys, Abdullah, and Alaja...Enjoys walking his dog, Dior, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and working out...Fun fact, brother Nafys Anas Garner, is a professional boxer.Â

"I chose to attend Cal Poly Humboldt because of the exceptional wrestling coaching staff. When I discovered that Lennie and Jim Zalesky were leading the program, I knew I had to reach out. Both are world-class wrestlers and highly respected coaches, and I recognized that to become a top-tier athlete in college wrestling, I needed to surround myself with greatness. Coach Jim Zalesky’s accomplishments as a three-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion, along with his deep knowledge and experience, are invaluable.
