Daffern returned to his alma mater in Fall of 2020 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Lumberjacks Athletic Department. He most recently was on the Athletic Training Staff at the College of the Siskiyous from 2018-20. Prior to the College of the Siskiyous , Daffern was a member of the Athletic Training Staff at Cal State Monterey Bay from 2013 to 2017. He started his career as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Humboldt State University from 2010-13.
Daffern earned his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science in 2013 from Humboldt State. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Athletic Training in 2010 from Humboldt State University. Daffern lives in McKInleyville with his wife Ashley and son Britton.
