Heather Snyder placed first in both the discus and hammer throws at Saturday's Wildcat Invitational, also finishing second in the shot put.

Snyder, a senior, led the field of 17 discus throwers with a season-best distance of 133 feet, 10 inches, and posted a winning performance of 138-6 1/2 in the hammer. Her runner-up performance of 41-3 1/2 among 19 competitors in the shot put was an improvement of one and a half feet over her previous best mark.
