Head Coach Joddie Gleason's Comments
“We were very happy with our effort last weekend after the disappointment of the week before. The (Cal Poly) Pomona win was huge for us at this stage in the season.” … “Paige (Peterson) was able to shut down (Cal State) Stanislaus' Alisha Kelly the first time we met. I expect that to be a good matchup again. We will have to focus on her and slow her down. Stanislaus plays really well at home. They have had some nice wins there. They always play hard and compete for 40 minutes.” … “Chico (State) is a tough matchup in that you can't focus on one or two players. They are very balanced in scoring and their leader can come from virtually anyone on a given night. They are playing extremely well right now. They are on a roll after losing three earlier in the year. It will be a battle on their home court.” … “With four games left, we are taking them one at a time. We know how valuable each one is. Outside of that, we are focused on the regional rankings. We have to beat teams that are ahead of us and keep those behind us just where they are.”
