Head Coach Frank Cheek's Comments
“Dominican was a team that had a number of good players, but not enough good players to win consistently. They are well coached, but we were due to break out with our bats and we did. (Kirsten) Nouzovsky had a great day, 6-for-6, a bunch of runs scored and three RBI. She is pounding the ball. It was nice to see (Kristina) Lewis get her first win. She pitched three good innings and gave us an opportunity to get (Gracie) Perez.”
