For the remainder of the summer the Humboldt State athletic department will countdown its Top 10 of 2014. The Top 10 will feature outstanding accomplishments, memorable moments and historic events during the 2013-14 Lumberjack athletic season.

The power of social media captured the attention of the Humboldt State athletic department during the 2013-14 season and immediately paid off.
 
Accounts on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook saw unprecedented growth and interaction, and fans had a new and powerful way to share in the Jacks' national success.
 
 
It's easy to catch Lumberjack fever following the HSU athletic social media accounts. Accounts feature photos, videos and sport updates daily and fans can easily receive updates on event results, player awards and more whether the event is happening in Indianapolis or Turlock, Calif.

The Jacks Facebook page has added over 200 new followers since the beginning of 2014 and reached more than 231,000 people. HSU's athletic Twitter page has added over 200 new followers since January 1, 2014 and has 940 total followers.
