ARCATA, Calif. – Humboldt State softball aims for its seventh NCAA West Region Championship when it hosts Great Northwest Athletic Conference opponent Central Washington in the Super Regional beginning Wednesday, May 11 at HSU Softball Field.
 
The Lumberjacks went 3-0 last week with wins over Sonoma State, Cal Baptist and No. 24-ranked Chico State. HSU faces Central Washington for the second time this season after capturing an 8-0 win in six innings at the Tournament of Champions in Turlock, Calif. The Wildcats trail 53-7 in the all-time series.
