Volleyball Aims to Snap Streak Against Golden Eagles

ARCATA, Calif. – The Humboldt State volleyball team looks to snap its 10-game losing streak when it hosts Cal State Los Angeles Saturday at 7 p.m. Saturday's match will be the team's annual Dig for a Cure event and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

The Lumberjacks (3-15, 0-10 CCAA) lost to Cal State Dominguez Hills 3-0 Friday night. Lauren Reid returned to action for the Green and Gold and led the team with 14 kills. Reid is the North Coast leader with 166 kills and her total ranks 10th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Cal State LA enters Saturday's match placed second in the South Division with a 9-1 conference record. The Golden Eagles are 8-0 on the road this season and have won four consecutive matches.
