SEASIDE, Calif..---  Humboldt State had their six-game winning streak snapped in a 62-55 road loss to Cal State Monterey Bay this afternoon in Seaside, Calif.  The Lumberjacks (7-2, 3-1 CCAA) tried to rally back from a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter, but saw their rally fall short in the seven-point loss.  Madeline Hatch and Alexia Thrower each had 14 points to lead the way for HSU while Tyra Turner chipped in 13 points for the Lumberjacks.

QUOTES FROM THE COACH:  "I am extremely disappointed in our defensive execution today," said head coach Michelle Bento-Jackson.  "I thought I had us ready but I obviously didn't.  Cal State Monterey Bay were the aggressors all day.  We took a big step backwards today."
