BELMONT, Calif.--- First-year head men's basketball coach
Tae Norwood picked up his first win as Humboldt State's head coach this afternoon in the Lumberjacks' 89-87 double overtime win over Academy of Art (2-7) in Belmont, Calif. The Lumberjacks had five players score in double digits paced by
Amari Green's career high 27 points. Green went 9 for 16 from the field including connecting on three of his attempts from beyond the arc. He also was a perfect six-for-six from the line.
Gabrys Sadaunykas recorded his first double-double of his career in the Green and Gold with 10 points and 16 rebounds.
Victor Mijas added 20 points while
AJ Sims and
