REDDING, Calif.--- Five players scored in double figure this evening to key Humboldt State's 104-70 win over Simpson University in Redding, Calif.
AJ Sims paced the Lumberjacks with 27 points while
Gabrys Sadaunykas and
Jordan Robinson each chipped in 12 points.
Caleb Giordano and
Noah Viera each added 11 points.
Playing in their fifth game in 12 days, the Lumberjacks (2-3) shot 60% from the field including 46% from three-point land. Sims went 12-for-15 from the field and connected on all three of his attempts from beyond the ar. HSU was 13-for-28 from beyond the arc besides Sims, Giordano went three-for-four while Robinson was four-for-six.
Humboldt State also had 15 assists led by Sadaunykas with four and four plyers each with two in
Victor Mijas,
Isaiah Hughes,
Keshawn Hall and Sims.
