LOLETA, Calif.--- Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks sent out their four seniors out in style with a 10-2 (5) series finale win this afternoon at the Bear River Casino Softball Complex in Loleta, Calif. Cal State San Marcos took the opener today 7-1. In the nightcap,

Katelyn Dendas along with the Cougars' three seniors were recognized between games with a Senior Day ceremony.
GAME ONE: Cal Poly Humboldt took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. With one out,
JoAna Mullins walked. She went to second second on her eleventh stolen base of the season. She advanced to third with two outs on a wild pitch.
Vanessa Saltos walked to place runners on the corner. The Jacks took the 1-0 lead when Mullins scored on a wild pitch.
The game remained 1-0 Jacks until the top of the sixth inning. The Cougars took a 4-1 lead with a four-run sixth inning as they had just two hits and took advantage of four walks and Paige Donnelly had a solo home run.
Cal State San Marcos (39-9, 28-8 CCAA) scored three more runs in its half of the seventh to take a 7-1 lead. The Jacks had a chance to break into the lead in their half of the seventh. With one out,
Ciera Pyle reached on a fielder's choice. She advanced to second on a single by
Anna Brondos, but Jamie Ponce (1-3) induced the last Jack batter to fly out to right to preserve the 7-1 victory.
JACK LEADERS.: Anna Brondos had two of the Jacks' four hits while
JoAna Mullins scored their only run. Karen Di DIo had the no-decision as she pitched 5.2 innings, giving up five hits and two runs while striking out three and walking three.
GAME TWO: In the nightcap, the Cougars took the 1-0 lead this time as Delaney Prater scored on a two-out single by Jamie Ponce. Prater reached on a two-out single and went to second when Kayla Mack was hit by a pitch. She scored on the two-out single by Ponce.
Cal Poly Humboldt (14-39, 7-29 CCAA) took its second lead of the day in its half of the first.
JoAna Mullins was hit by a pitch with two outs. She scored on
Izzy Starr's seventh home run of the season, a two-run shot over the left field fence.
The Jacks took a 3-1 lead with a run in the second inning.
Anna Brondos walked and went to second on a sacrifice bunt by
Alyssa Ramirez. She went to third on a single by
Emily McAdams. With two outs,
Hollee Travao singled home Brondos with the Jacks' third run of the game.
Humboldt broke the game open with a six-run third inning. Starr had a lead-off single. She went to second when
Vanessa Saltos walked. Starr scored on a double by
Katelyn Dendas. Saltos scored on a sacrifice fly by Brondos. With one out, Ramirez singled to put runners on the corners. McAdams walked to load the bases.
Micaela Harris drove home both Dendas and Ramirez with a two-run single. McAdams scored on a wild pitch. With two outs, Starr drove home both McAdams and Harris with a two-run single to give the Jacks a 9-1 lead.
The hosts added another run in the fourth on a two-out single by Harris which scored Brondos who reached on a one-out walk.
The Cougars scored a run in the top of the fifth on a two-out single by Aneesa Arredondo to cut the Jack lead to 10-2. McAdams (1-5) ended the Cougar scoring threat and the game as she struck out the final Cougar batter with two outs and the bases loaded as Humboldt took the nightcap 10-2.
JACK STARS: Izzy Starr went three-for-three with four runs batted in, two runs scored and a home run.
Micaela Harris went two-for-four with three runs batted in and a run scored.
Anna Brondos scored twice for the Jacks.
