ARCATA, Calif. – As announced by the office of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), Cal Poly Humboldt softball's

Izzy Starr,
JoAna Mullins,
Vanessa Saltos and
Micaela Harris were named to the 2022 All-CCAA Softball Team. Harris was a First Team selection while Mullins, Saltos and Starr were Second Team honorees as voted by the league's eleven nine head coaches.
This is the first time in her collegiate career that Harris has been selected to the First Team. Harris was a Second Team honoree in 2018 and a 2020 CCAA All-Star recipient. Earlier this season, Harris was named to the NFCA/Schutt Sports Top 50 Player/Pitcher of the Year Watch List. The Rocklin, Calif., native hit .388 this season as she started in all 53 games for the Jacks. She led the team with her 69 hits, 53 runs scored, seven triples and 48 stolen bases.
In the recent NCAA Division II statistics, Harris is second in the nation in stolen bases and 16
th in triples. She leads the CCAA in stolen bases while she is second in runs scored and hits while she is tied for second in triples and ninth in slugging percentage. Harris reached base safely in all but seven games this season for Humboldt.
Mullins was selected to the All-CCAA Team for the first time in her collegiate career at Humboldt. This season, she started in all 53 games for the Jacks at either shortstop, third base or first base. She hit .333 this season with 55 hits of which nine were doubles and two were triples. The San Ramon, Calif., native drove in 33 runs and scored 22 times. She was ten-for-eleven in stolen base attempts. Heading into this weekend's CCAA Tournament, Mullins is tenth in the conference with her 33 runs batted in.
Just like Mullins, this is the first time that Saltos has earned All-CCAA honors. The Merced, Calif., native hit .283 this season in 52 games. She led the Jacks with her ten home runs of which nine were hit in CCAA games. Saltos drove in 31 runs and scored 20 runs. Besides her ten home runs, Saltos had eight doubles. In Humboldt's 9-6 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on February 19 Saltos went three-for-four with three home runs while driving in five runs and scoring three runs. She is tied for first in the conference in home runs.
Starr is a first time All-CCAA honoree. The 2021 NFCA All-American honoree led the Jacks with her .395 batting average, 15 doubles, 41 runs batted in and .605 slugging percentage. Starr started in all 51 games she played in this season for Humboldt at either third base, catcher or designated player. She also hit seven home runs while scoring 23 runs and went a perfect eight-for-eight in stolen bases. Starr is 25
th in the nation with her 68 hits. In the recent CCAA statistics report, Starr is in the top ten in runs batted in (third,) hits (third), doubles (tied for fourth), home runs (tied for sixth), slugging percentage (seventh) and batting average (seventh).
The four Lumberjacks earning All-CCAA honors gives Cal Poly Humboldt 185 all-conference honorees in program history either in the CCAA or GNAC. Humboldt had the second most selections to this year's All-CCAA.
