"This is obviously a very big class for us. My assistant and I worked hard to elevate and upgrade our roster in just about every area. I believe we have identified young women who fit our women's basketball program at Cal Poly Humboldt. This class speaks to the need of our program and addresses some very important areas that we needed to improve upon.
We feel we have brought in individuals who fit our style of play on both ends of the floor. Within this class, there are quite a few multi positional players which will give us options. They are talented, they are competitors, and high character individuals.
Overall, we feel good about the class and feel that as a whole there is a lot of upside. With this, comes great expectations. Things won't happen overnight and we know we have a lot of work ahead of us, however, we are confident this group is ready for the challenge. I am extremely excited to be their coach and can't wait to get to work."
