ARCATA, Calif.---- After a brief hiatus, Cal Poly Humboldt Softball's 20^th Annual Pay to Play Softball Games are set for Sunday, October 16 at the Humboldt Softball Field.  The doubleheader will begin at noon. Immediately after the games, participants and their guests are invited to a barbeque and meet and greet with the 2022-23 Cal Poly Humboldt Softball team and coaches on the Humboldt Softball Field.
 
The Pay to Play fundraiser is the biggest boost for the Cal Poly Humboldt Softball program.  These funds are used to supplement scholarships and equipment. 
 
Since 2003, numerous community businesses and individuals have participated in making the event a positive experience for all concerned. The program has grown from a Celebrity Swing prior to 2003 to the current Pay to Play.  Local businesses have sponsored their employees or played themselves.  In either case, the competition has been tenacious, exciting and enjoyable for all concerned.
