Cal Poly Humboldt Secures Scoreless Draw at Stanislaus State

TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal Poly Humboldt men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw on the road against Stanislaus State on Thursday evening, earning a valuable point in CCAA action at Warrior Stadium. The stalemate pushes the Lumberjacks to 2-6-4 overall and 1-3-2 in conference play, while the Warriors move to 4-4-4 (0-2-3 CCAA).

Despite being outshot 21-8, Cal Poly Humboldt's defensive resilience shined, with goalkeeper Adrain Gallardo delivering a stellar performance. The senior made eight saves, including several crucial stops on Stanislaus State's eight shots on target. Humboldt's defense held firm against a barrage of second-half chances from the Warriors, with the home team firing 12 shots after the break.

The match saw heightened physicality late in the second half, with four yellow cards issued in the span of five minutes. Erwin Manibusan Jr. received a caution in the 81st minute, followed by Alex Lopez at the 85:34 mark for the Lumberjacks. Stanislaus State's Landon Leal Ruiz and Alexis Ramirez were also booked during that stretch.

Offensively, the Lumberjacks struggled to break through Stanislaus State's defense. Despite earning three corner kicks and attempting eight shots, Humboldt was unable to register a shot on goal. However, the Lumberjacks' backline absorbed the Warriors' pressure, especially in the closing minutes, to preserve the clean sheet.

- Shots: Humboldt 8 (0 SOG), Stanislaus State 21 (8 SOG)
- Saves: Humboldt 8, Stanislaus State 0
- Corners: Humboldt 3, Stanislaus State 8
