SEASIDE, Calif. -- The Cal Poly Humboldt men's basketball team ended their final road game of the season in style against Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday afternoon from The Kelp Bed. Humboldt reached triple digits to sink the Otters with a final score of 100-98, which is the most point the 'Jacks have scored in a CCAA game since December 8 of last season.
Ramiah Adedigba made the game winning basket with just two seconds remaining to seal the victory. The Lumberjacks shot 52.9 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range, which are both season-bests in CCAA play.
An incredible shooting performance from both squads saw Humboldt shoot 57.14 percent and Monterey Bay shoot 66.67 percent in the first half, with neither team leading by more than six points. From three-point range, the teams combined for 17 first-half threes. The back-and-forth shooting clinic saw the Lumberjacks lead by just a point at the half, 51-50. It was the most points Humboldt has scored in a half this season for CCAA play.
Monterey Bay started the second half on an 11-3 run and held a seven-point lead, their largest of the game. After fighting their way back and keeping it a one possession game for the majority of the second half, Humboldt surrendered to another Otter run and found themselves down seven points with four minutes to go.

Ramiah Adedigba cut the deficit to two points (94-96) with 40 seconds remaining. With 28 seconds left,
Brandon Bento-Jackson hit a clutch three from well beyond the arc, giving Humboldt a 97-96 lead. CSUMB converted two free-throws, putting the pressure back on Humboldt. However, Ramiah Adediigba drove to the basket and made the game winning 'And-1' layup with just two seconds to go. He converted the three-point play and sealed the 100-98 victory for Humboldt in the nail-biting finish.
