Monte Cook (Staff, 1988-2006): Monte Cook dedicated 18 years of service to the equipment room, where his leadership, work ethic, and attention to detail left a lasting impact on the student-athletes he supported. For nearly two decades, Monte managed one of the busiest operations in the department, including the demanding logistics of football, while consistently running an efficient and well-organized equipment room. His commitment to excellence and care for student success directly served roughly 2,000 student-athletes, many of whom credit Monte for his support and positive influence throughout their collegiate careers.
Alyssabeth DeJerez (Track & Field, 2014-17): Alyssabeth DeJerez was a standout member of the Cal Poly Humboldt track & field team from 2014 to 2017, earning national, conference, and academic honors throughout her collegiate career. A two-time NCAA All-American in the 400-meter hurdles, she also claimed All-West Region recognition and dominated the CCAA by winning both the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash titles in 2016 and 2017. Her exceptional 2017 season earned her the title of CCAA Track Athlete of the Year. DeJerez graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology and was named All-Academic every semester at Humboldt. She left a lasting legacy in the program, holding school records in both the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash, ranking second all-time in the 200 meters, and placing in the program's Top-10 for the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, as well as the heptathlon.
Fred Hooks (Basketball, 2000-04): A standout in Humboldt men's basketball history, this athlete earned three NCAA All-American honors (2001–04) and was named the 2003–04 West Region Player of the Year. He was a two-time GNAC Player of the Year (2001–02, 2002–03), GNAC Freshman of the Year (2000–01), and a four-time First Team All-GNAC selection. He played a pivotal role in Humboldt's 2003–04 Final Four and West Region championship run, helping the program secure three GNAC titles during his career. Despite not graduating, he is now eligible for recognition with the 20-year period elapsed. He ranks second in career scoring at Humboldt with 2,077 points—one of only two players in program history to eclipse 2,000—and holds GNAC and Humboldt records for career rebounds (1,268), field goals made (828), offensive rebounds (432), and double-doubles (61). He also owns single-game records for rebounds (29) and blocks (8), and single-season marks for rebounds (353), field goals (235), and double-doubles (20, achieved in both 2001–02 and 2002–03). After college, he played professionally in Mexico and Iceland before signing with the Portland franchise of the International Basketball League.
Jamie Larrabee (Rowing 2009-14): Jamie Larrabee was a standout rower who played a key role on the varsity eight boat that led her team to a National Championship in 2014. That same year, she earned NCAA All-American honors and was named First-Team All-Conference for her exceptional performance on the water. A dedicated student-athlete, Larrabee also graduated, capping off a remarkable collegiate career marked by both athletic excellence and academic achievement.
Lisa McDonnell (Rowing 2002-05): Lisa McDonnell played a pivotal role in the success of the Cal Poly Humboldt rowing program during her collegiate career. A standout performer, she was a member of the Varsity 4+ squad that captured the individual national championship at the NCAA Championships in 2004—the first Humboldt boat to ever qualify for the national regatta. Prior to that historic run, McDonnell helped the 2003 team earn a third-place finish at the Pacific Rowing Conference Championships. As a key contributor to the novice eight boat, she was instrumental in securing top-two finishes at every event except the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships, where the crew placed fourth out of 27 Division I, II, and III programs. McDonnell graduated and left behind a legacy of competitive excellence and historic milestones for the program.
Blake Moorman (Football, 2005-06): Blake Moorman was a quarterback for the Cal Poly Humboldt football team from 2005 to 2006. A consistent leader on the field, Moorman earned First Team All-GNAC honors in 2005 and Second Team All-Independents recognition in 2006. He graduated following a prolific two-year career that left a lasting mark on the program's record books. Moorman ranks third all-time in passing yards with 4,684 and holds the fourth and fifth spots for most passing yards in a single season, throwing for 2,388 yards in 2006 and 2,296 yards in 2005. He also sits fourth in both single-season pass completions (192) and career pass completions (347). Additionally, he is sixth all-time in single-season passing touchdowns with 19 in 2006 and fourth in career touchdown passes with 34. Moorman capped his senior year by leading the Lumberjacks to an impressive 9-1 record.

A dominant force in the circle, Obbema was named a Second Team All-American in 2016 and earned multiple All-Region honors, including West Region Pitcher of the Year that same season. She was also a three-time First-Team All-CCAA selection (2013, 2015, 2016), a Second-Team honoree in 2014, and claimed the title of CCAA Freshman of the Year in 2013. Capping off her collegiate career, she was honored as the 2016 CCAA Female Athlete of the Year. Obbema helped lead the Lumberjacks to two NCAA West Regional championships (2013 and 2016), guiding her teams to a fifth-place national finish as a freshman and an impressive runner-up showing in her senior season. In the Cal Poly Humboldt record books, she ranks fourth in career starts (124), sixth in shutouts (19), third in innings pitched (838.2), second in saves (8), fourth in wins (96), fourth in strikeouts (578), and third in complete games (97).
