Cal Poly Humboldt's Lily Fournier has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Softball Player of the Week, for the week of April 20-26.
Fournier went 3-0 in four appearances with an incredible low ERA of 0.36 to lead the Lumberjacks to a four-game series sweep over Chico State last week. She tossed a total of 19.1 innings with two complete games, yielding just one earned run on eight hits. Fournier struck out 16 batters and walked just one to post a .121 opposing batting average.
The freshman south-paw from Las Vegas, Nev., pitched a one-hitter to start the series on Friday before returning to throw four shutout innings of relief in game two. In her start on Saturday, Fournier again threw a complete game, this time giving up two unearned runs. She then helped Humboldt to the sweep by pitching another 1.1 shutout innings in the series finale.
Fournier, now 12-12 on the season, is tied for the CCAA lead with 118 strikeouts. She is second in innings pitched (154.1), seventh in ERA (2.59) and sixth with 12 wins. She has allowed the third fewest walks with 19.
This is Fournier's first career CCAA Pitcher of the Week award. She's the first pitcher from Cal Poly Humboldt to receive this honor since 2023. Click here to see the complete list of CCAA Softball weekly award winners.
