Combining modern enhancements with the familiar excitement of the East Gym, Lumberjack Arena is the crown jewel of the $44 million Kinesiology Athletics Facility, officially dedicated on Oct. 3, 2008. 

The facility serves as the home to Lumberjack basketball and volleyball and offers one of the premier fan experience in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Chair-back, theater-style seating for season ticket-holders and molded bleacher seating are two of the many upgrades. Brightly lit, with stand-alone baskets and state-of-the-art scoreboards, the 17,655 square-foot Lumberjack Arena can hold 1,850 fans comfortably, an increase of 600 from the previous facility.

The KA building also includes new locker rooms, offices, classrooms, and storage along with a 25-meter pool. The building was designed and constructed to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver standards, using sustainable materials and incorporating green elements.
