Cal Poly Humboldt Athletics

NORTHWEST NAZARENE: Recek is a 6-6 wing/guard from Northwest Nazarene University, where he was a member of the Nighthawks' men's basketball team that played in the 2020-21 NCAA Division II West Regional Championship game.  He played in 11 games this past season while scoring 60 points and shooting 45% from three-point range. 
 
YUBA COLLEGE: Recek played for two seasons at Yuba College.  During his freshman season, the Fresno, Calif., native averaged 15 points and four rebounds per game while earning All-League honors.  He had season high of 30 points and scored 25 points or more six times during his first season of collegiate ball....In his sophomore season at Yuba College, Recek averaged 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.  He shot 44% from the field including 46% from three-point range.  Recek shot 84% from the charity stripe.  He scored a career high 33 points in the state junior college play-offs.  He scored 20-points or more five times during his sophomore season while earning First Team All-League honors.  Recek was named to the All-State First Team and ranked third best three-point shooter in the state.
 
PERSONAL:  He graduated from Clovis West High School in Fresno, Calif., in 2018.  While at Clovis West, Recek was the league's Most Valuable Player and earned All-State honors.  He was a member of the Honor Roll at Clovis East HS.
