PRIOR TO HUMBOLDT:  O'Brien is a 6-4 shooting guard who averaged 15.6 points, 2.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game for Adams State this past season.  The Tucson, Ariz., native shot 85.8% from the charity stripe while connecting on 53 of his attempts from beyond the arc. The Grizzlies' Team Captain led the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in free throw percentage.  He finished in the top five in three-point field goal percentage and in the top ten in scoring.  In RMAC games, O'Brien went 95-for-97 from the charity stripe.  During his freshman season at Adams State, O'Brien averaged 9.0 points and 3.2 rebounds per game while dishing out 2 3 assists in 17 games. 

PERSONAL: Son to Juan and Nikola O'Brien...Majoring in Communications...Golf was his first sport
