HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Bellevue (Wash.) Christian High and Skyline High (Sammamish, Wash.) ... earned All-King County second team acclaim as senior and honorable mention as junior.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 30, 1992, in Seattle, Wash. ... parents are Allen and Janet Bechtel ... majoring in kinesiology ... father, Allen, played football at Central Washington University and brother, Daniel, played soccer at Northwest Nazarene and Northwest University ... enjoys fantasy football, hanging out with friends and playing soccer ... played club soccer for Eastside FC, Washington Premier and Crossfire Premier and part of the Washington Olympic Development Program team, 2006-08, and Super-Y Regional ODP team in 2007 and 2008.
