Biography

HUMBOLDT STATE: In his first season playing for the Lumberjacks after sitting out the 2011 campaign.

2011: Redshirt season.

2010: Attended a junior college but did not play.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity soccer at Orange Glen HS (Escondido, Calif.) ... helped his team win two Valley League Championships and the CIF Championship in 2010 ... captained the Patriots as a senior ... earned All-North County honors ... was named Valley League Player of the Year in 2010.

PERSONAL: Born July 4, 1992, in Escondido, Calif. ... parents are Mario and Carmen Ramirez ... majoring in kinesiology ... enjoys dancing and playing soccer ... played club soccer for the Poway Vaqueros team that won the Presidio League in 2009.
