Williams enters her second year on the coaching staff at her alma mater. She graduated from Humboldt State in 2018 after being a member of the Lumberjack softball team from 2013-17. Williams mainly works with the Lumberjack pitching staff.
During her career at her alma mater, Williams was a part of four post-season teams that captured two regional championships in 2016 and 2017. The Lumberjacks also were CCAA Tournament Champions in 2014 and 2017. Williams earned All-American honors in 2016 and was a four-time All-CCAA honoree. She also was a Top 25 Player of the Year finalist in 2016 and a pre-season All-American in 2017.
Williams was a two-time NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team member in 2016 and 2017. She finished her career second on HSU’s all-time career strikeout leader and second all-time in single season strikeouts. Williams recorded four no-hitters including one in the 2017 National Tournament.
